  • When we are contacted for a sale, we make an initial appointment with you to see what the project entails, and during that time, we will explain what we will be doing, and what the sale fees will be. Also, we will explain that all the items which are to be saved by you and your family are to either secured in separate space in the location, or removed from the location prior to the sale to prevent any items being sold that were intended to be saved.

  • First of all, let us say that every sale is different and unique. The pre-sale conditions vary as to the level of work needed to prepare for the sale, the items are different, and the market of the individual sale location requires specially targeted advertising to make the sale successful.
     

  • Next there is the sorting, cleaning, and research about the items for sale. As you will see in the photos to follow, the initial sorting can be in a home that is reasonably organized, or in complete dis-array. We have to decide what items are most sellable in the time we have to conduct the sale, and which will be best suited to sell in an internet based venue, or at the sale location (generally a 3-4 day sale).
     

  • Once the sorting and preliminary cleaning is done, we start the staging at the sale site. This involves arranging our sale display tables, counters, etc. Also, we re-stage the location to maximize the customer flow, and to allow the items to be displayed in an attractive and well organized manner to allow for good customer flow while displaying the items for maximum sales. We generally have the owners tell us that they didn't realize how nice their items were. One client mentioned that after the sale was staged, she felt like "taking out her checkbook and buying several of the items"
     

  • We advertise in many venues. We place ads in newspapers in the surrounding area and in other larger markets if applicable. Online advertising is also very effective as we have a large internet presence, and list with online Estate Sale companies. Lastly, we make flyers for the sale and distribute them to our many contacts and most importantly, it Signage, and we are very effective with this. We always have many, many positive comments from our buyers about how great our signs are, and how they brought them to our sale.
     

  • OK , Now it's sale time. We have a good staff to help us with very effective results. We specialize in pricing items correctly and engaging our customers for an effective sale. We have sold sell items like cars, wildlife mounts, original artworks, furniture, household items, china, jewelry, garage items, lawn and garden items, and things you could not imagine selling. Basically, we see our job as getting you reasonable market values for your items while also cleaning out the location so you do not have to do this hard labor intensive work yourself. After all, that's why you are hiring us. To do the difficult and consuming work for you. After the sale, you have the choice to have us leave the location in 'Floor Clean' condition which is one of our services, or you can choose to remove the remaining contents yourself. It's your choice.
